Board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner Curtis Andrews, PMHNP-BC, is proud to provide mental health care to the community of Phoenix, Arizona, at 2nd Chance Treatment Center.

After growing up in Silver Spring, Maryland, Curtis moved to Florida to study nursing at the University of South Florida. Following graduation, he completed a nursing research internship at Penn State University and a Valor nursing internship for Veterans Health Administration. He went on to receive his Master of Science in Nursing as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at the University of South Alabama College of Nursing.

Curtis developed a strong passion for providing psychiatric care while providing inpatient mental health care to Veterans as a psychiatric registered nurse. He continued his training in both outpatient community health and inpatient treatment centers with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. 

In an effort to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in his field, Curtis maintains an active membership with the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
