About Tramel

Lolita Tramel is a board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing medicine for approximately 8 years.

She is a NY native who began her career in Family Medicine in upstate in NY. Inspired by her patients in the LGBTQ community, she decided to make a change into Psychiatry when her patients were not seeking care due to fear of discrimination. Dedicated to her patients, she immediately sought additional training. She is a proud graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Her background includes serving minority populations such as the LGBTQ and Native American communities. She has also served persons living with HIV, alcohol and drug addiction, neurological deficits, and those suffering from various mental health ailments. She enjoys giving her time to those in need and is sensitive to the needs of those in marginalized communities. Ms. Tramel works diligently to provide compassionate culturally sensitive care treating all patients with dignity and respect.

In her free time, Ms. Tramel enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and her fur babies Hadley and Diamond.
