About Angela Stuff, PMHNP-BC

Angela Stuff, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She cares for patients from Queen Creek and Gilbert, Arizona, at 2nd Chance Treatment Center.

Native to Arizona, Angela completed her initial nursing degree in Northern Arizona then spent several years as a travel nurse, living from coast to coast, initially specializing in ER and trauma. During her time as an RN was when she first recognized her passion for mental health.

In 2017, Angela graduated from Walden University with her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

While working as an FNP, Angela witnessed the lack of and growing need for mental health providers as well as her desire to help this population. After a few years of practice as an FNP, she returned to school and graduated from Liberty University with her post-masters licensure as a PMHNP.

Angela has a strong belief that care should be individualized for each person and strives to build a therapeutic relationship with each patient. While dedicated to evidence-based practices and treatments, she aspires to not only help improve the mental health of each patient, but also help improve their overall health and well-being.

When not in the office, Angela spends her time with her husband and their three boys. She enjoys being very active and loves traveling. Her hobbies include yoga, weight lifting, snowboarding, and training for her next bodybuilding competition.
