Beth Howe, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner located in Surprise, AZ and Gilbert, AZ

About Beth Howe, PMHNP-BC

Beth Howe, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner on the team at 2nd Chance Treatment Center. She practices in Gilbert and Surprise, Arizona.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Beth has a diverse background, and her love for caretaking began by working as a hospital volunteer while in high school. Her interest in science and zeal for helping others started from the time she was a young child. Beth’s heart and passion are not only in caring for others but assisting clients in managing their mental health.

Beth’s experience includes many years of working in an acute care hospital. She then transferred her experience and knowledge to mental health. One of the foundations for Beth’s psychiatric nursing expertise was her commitment to working in both general psychiatry and addiction recovery.

When not involved with seeing clients in her practice, she is often looking for ways to promote mental health in the community, either through research or education. It is a lifelong dream of Beth’s to see the stigma attached to mental health come to an end. She would also like for all people suffering from a mental health condition to be free from shame or guilt when trying to cope with a mental illness, either as an individual or a family member of someone struggling with a mental health condition.

Beth’s hobbies include spending time with family, being outdoors, observing nature, hiking, and cycling. She enjoys traveling the world and loves being exposed to new cultures and ideas.

Beth graduated with her BSN in 2004 from Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. She earned her PMHNP from Walden University in 2019.
