About Dr. Villarreal

Cesar Villarreal, MD, is a psychiatrist practicing at 2nd Chance Treatment Center with locations in Phoenix, Gilbert, and Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Villarreal has a variety of leadership experience as the chief psychiatrist at Value Options, Magellan Health Services, Choices Network of Arizona, and TERROS Health.  

Dr. Villarreal enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements. He’s been an ethics committee representative and information management committee representative at El Paso Psychiatric Center. He’s also been a peer review committee representative at Choices Network of Arizona. 

Dr. Villarreal believes in utilizing a holistic and well-rounded approach to treating patients through supportive counseling, active listening, medications, and specialized psychotherapy programs. He’s a dedicated and caring physician who aims to find the root cause of his patients’ illnesses.

During Dr. Villarreal’s free time, he enjoys playing chess and reading books on philosophy, theology, and theories of evolution. He also loves spending time with his wife and children.
