With extensive training in both general and adolescent psychiatry as well as experience in correctional psychiatry, Dr. Sarazin has a unique perspective on addiction psychiatry. Dr. Sarazin earned his medical degree from the University of Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia. He came to the United States to complete his residency in general psychiatry at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent psychiatry at the Westchester Medical Center in New York. 

Initially, Dr. Sarazin worked in Canada as a child psychiatrist at the New Brunswick Provincial Child Psychiatry Unit in Moncton, Canada. In 2008, he moved back to the United States and worked predominantly as a general psychiatrist at the Lakeview Center in Pensacola, Florida, and Santa Rosa Correctional Institution in Milton, Florida.

Dr. Sarazin is licensed to practice medicine in Arizona and Florida. In his leisure time, he enjoys tennis, hiking, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
