About Rhonda Brun, PMHNP-BC

Rhonda is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner serving the communities of San Tan Valley and Litchfield Park. Rhonda received her master’s in nursing with a specialty in psychiatric mental health from Eastern Kentucky University. She treats a variety of mental health concerns from anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder as well as substance use and alcohol dependence. She treats clients from 16- 60.

While in graduate school, Rhonda worked at a local behavioral health hospital where she honed her skills in assessment and diagnosis of psychiatric conditions. Her experience of over twenty years includes critical care, education, specialty infusions and home health, as well as surgical nursing.

Rhonda realized that when mental health concerns/illness are not addressed properly, or not addressed at all, it impacts every other area of a person’s well-being. Rhonda believes in treating the whole person as a unique individual and desires to partner with you in finding the right treatment plan for your personal success.


Rhonda enjoys spending time hiking, cycling, kayaking, traveling and working out. Her favorite place to unwind is in the serenity of nature. Rhonda values the importance of a healthy mind and body and understands how mental health impacts emotional and physical health. Rhonda’s goal for herself and her patients is to live fully.
