Serving the communities of Gilbert and Queen Creek, Arizona, Stephanie Winter, PMHNP-BC, is a trusted adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. As a part of 2nd Chance Treatment Center, she is skilled at addressing a range of mental health concerns. These include depression, anxiety, drug addiction, mood swings, and suicidal tendencies.
After receiving her associate's degree from Highland Community College, Ms. Winter completed her bachelor's degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. She went on to earn her master's degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
As a family psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, Ms. Winter strives to educate her patients on how to cope more effectively with life issues and mental health problems. She is sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient's situation and adapts her consultations appropriately to accommodate individual needs and concerns.
